Every individual embarks on their life journey as a child, characterized by innate curiosity and playfulness. As we encounter challenges and adversities, there is often a societal inclination to distance ourselves from these inherent traits, overlooking the therapeutic impact of creativity and play.

My personal journey started as a nerdy theatre kid with aspirations of gracing Broadway's stage. While navigating the complexities of adolescence, I found benefit in participating in my own therapy experience and realizing the profound benefits of counseling. Initially fixated on a career in acting however my perspective shifted during my undergraduate studies. I recognized that the world of Drama Therapy and Clinical Mental Health Counseling, utilizing creative modalities, held the potential to make a meaningful impact on people's lives.

Pursuing a Master's Degree in Counseling, my focus evolved towards working with children, youth, and their families. A decision to specialize in play therapy emerged, and I dedicated myself to integrating my prior counseling insights. In an unexpected revelation during my final year of graduate school, I was diagnosed with ADHD. This newfound awareness fueled my commitment to establishing a supportive environment for individuals navigating the intricacies of neurodiversity.

Acknowledging the holistic nature of therapy, I adopted an approach that engages the entire being—addressing the senses, mind, and musculoskeletal system. My therapeutic philosophy is person-centered, embracing the inherent creativity within each individual. Leveraging the transformative power of play, creativity, and a mind-body connection.

Hobbies
I am an avid hobby hunter with lifelong passions for theatre and visual arts. I love to hike and spend time being silly in nature.

Quirks
I can touch my tongue to my nose, and I will always probably have cat hair on my clothes (cat parents know the struggle).

Fun Fact
I used to be a professional actor in immersive theatre, and have been a scenic painter for local theatres in Colorado.

    Adolescent Therapy 50-Minutes: $140.00

    Parent Session 50-Minutes: $140.00

  • Our Therapists are not contracted with any insurance companies and are considered Out-of-Network (OON) Providers.

  • While we do appreciate as much notice as possible for cancellations and rescheduling, we understand that life happens. If you need to cancel or reschedule a session, please notify us 48-hours prior to your scheduled session start time to avoid a charge.

    - 48+ Hours Notice: No Charge

    - Notification between 24-48 hours: $100.00 Charge

    - Less than 24-hours notice/No-Show: Full Session Charge
