Life never goes the way we plan, especially during adolescence and young adulthood. It feels like you know everything yet as time goes by, you realize there is so much more to learn.

I thought I had my life figured out at 15 but that suddenly changed after a sports related concussion altered my path.

After working with and connecting with a multidisciplinary team of professionals, I knew that I wanted a career in a helping profession. I appreciated that my team took the time to hear my concerns and work with me to find a solution specific to my needs. While my area of focus and future career goals changed a number of times throughout college, I fell in love with Psychology and chose to move forward with a career in Counseling.

Throughout my career, I have had the opportunity to work in a variety of healthcare settings including hospitals, community mental health, a children’s residential treatment center, group private practice, and now running my own private practice. I have also had the opportunity to work with individuals in all stages of life. My love of working with kids began in graduate school during my time at Seattle Children’s. After a brief internship working with adults, I returned to working with adolescents and haven’t turned back since.

My therapeutic style is very person-centered. I want sessions to be beneficial for you and will cater towards your needs. Just like every human, every therapy session is unique!

What Makes me Human

Hobbies
I grew up playing a variety of sports and took up distance running in college. I now spend my weekends running, cycling, hiking or skiing. When I am not outside, you can find me cooking or baking, playing with my dog, reading or trying out a new coffee shop.

Quirks
My excitement every time I see a cute dog, my love of vanilla lattes, my hatred of asparagus, and my inability to keep plants alive.

Fun Fact
I played ice hockey in middle and high school! My brother played and I never enjoyed sitting on the cold bleachers watching. One day, I decided I would try ice skating and immediately fell in love with the sport. I was thrilled when the Kraken came to Seattle!
